Canal Sidings is a single line branch which runs beside a disused canal and a factory which is still served by the railway. There are sidings on each side of the line with three inside the factory fence where vans, open wagons and tank wagons make deliveries and pick up goods. Across the main line there are further sidings which were used to service the canal traffic but are now used to provide extra sidings for the factory. An old crane and a loading bank add interest beside the canal.
On the main line, passenger services are provided by single car DMUs and a deisel shunter is on hand to provide services in the sidings.
The buildings are a mix of laser cut kits and resin castings. Signals are kit built from brass and are lit and signals and points are worked with servos.
The layout size is 16' by 2' and is operated with dcc control
