Clydemuir - OO Gauge

Clydemuir is loosely based on the North Clyde electric station at Dalmuir with the park, high flats and bay platform having swapped sides to facilitate a more practical layout for modelling. It is one of the largest layouts the club has built. The era covers the period from the 80s to the 2000s and hence classes 314s, 318s and 320s are running suburban services. Trains running through the station on the West Highland Line comprise Sprinters and Classes 37s and 66s.

The buildings are scratch built with the station and signal box made in plasticard. The tenement flats have 3D printed fronts and backs with other walls made from card. The modern flats are of mixed material construction.

All points are set from an old fashioned control panel using stud contact and CDU.

The layout is 20' by 9' with dcc control
